Google Ads for cleaning companies

Cleaning advertising that fills the crew's calendar.

A tenant who needs a move-out clean before handing back the keys buys differently from an office manager choosing a regular crew. Your ads need to separate deadline jobs from recurring work, so your crew's schedule fills with the jobs you want.

Short version: Run your advertising by service: recurring homes, deep cleans, move-outs and commercial contracts need different ads and booking questions. Move-out searches reach a top-of-page bid of $22.68 in Google Keyword Planner, so screen for the address, deadline and scope before calling an inquiry a booking. Track which searches fill a crew's schedule, then budget for those jobs.

What cleaning clicks cost on Google

Google Keyword Planner shows a wide bid spread between a carpet clean, a house visit and an office contract:

Office cleaning has just 18,100 monthly searches, yet its upper bid is $32.17; carpet cleaning draws 368,000 searches with an upper bid of $10.00. The biggest pool of searches is far from the most expensive at the upper end. We give office contracts their own campaign and measure signed service agreements separately from carpet appointments.

How we structure a cleaning account

  • Recurring homes get a clear offer. We write house cleaning ads around the visits you sell, with separate wording for regular upkeep and deep cleaning. The inquiry asks about home size, visit frequency and the condition of the property.
  • Move-outs get a deadline check. An empty apartment before a key handover needs different questions from an occupied home. Ads lead to an inquiry about the move date, property size and extras such as the oven or refrigerator.
  • Office contracts get their own route. For commercial cleaning advertising, we ask about the building, service schedule and walkthrough. A request for nightly office service should reach the person who quotes contracts, with progress tracked through the signed agreement.
  • Carpet work stays with equipped crews. Carpet searches get a separate service group only if you offer that work. We keep carpet-only inquiries away from ads for general home upkeep so a crew without extraction equipment does not field the wrong calls.
  • Rental turnovers follow your coverage. Airbnb ads describe the turnover work you handle, including laundry or restocking only if offered. Targeting follows the properties your crew can reach between checkout and the next guest's arrival.

Searches we keep you from paying for

Your account needs to separate people hiring a crew from people looking for work, supplies or equipment:

Kind of searchExample

When cleaning demand moves

Across these searches, demand peaks in November at 715,400 and bottoms out in September at 441,400, according to the Google Keyword Planner data above. That total hides different calendars: carpet care peaks in November and falls lowest in January, while move-out services peak in July and fall lowest in November. House visits and deep cleans both peak in October and bottom out in September. We plan each service's budget around its own season, then move spend toward the work your crews have room to book.

Google's rules for cleaning

Google lists "House cleaning services" as available for US Local Services Ads in its US category list. Since August 2026, Google has been moving existing Local Services Ads into Google Ads as Performance Max campaigns with pay-per-lead goals, with this trade in the first phase. Those ads still show only on Google Search and Maps and remain pay per lead, according to Google's migration guidance.
